for your silence

for your page never turned anew.

Poetry

A Day At The Park

The rhythm in the screech of the old rusty swing
In the distance, the gong of the church bell’s ring

Nostalgia sings her sweet melodies
The soft breeze catches all my worries

A smile sews across my face
The sun dresses me with her finest silks & lace

My mind is taken to a new place —
nothing but peace, union & grace.
